AWARD OF EXCELLENCE RECIPIENT

An Award of Excellence certificate is issued to food facilities that exhibit excellent food safety and sanitation practices during the course of a year. To receive an Award of Excellence certificate, a food facility must:

  • Not receive a Major Violation on any routine inspection within the specified annual period.

  • Have an average of no more than six (6) Minor Violations within the specified annual period; and

  • Have at least one (1) individual who has passed an approved food safety certification examination.
